Our commitment is to bring people together to join us as responsible stewards of Mother Earth and her natural resources, share our off-grid Yurt Sanctuary while fostering pleasurable experiences for the thriving and sustainability of friends and family, and encourage volunteerism to help expand our organic Gardens

The Yurt Sanctuary (YS) was birthed during the COVID19 Pandemic in 2020 to bring family and friends closer to Nature.

With her hands in the soil, and a deep desire to create a more sustainable life, Nancy received the calling to commit to replacing grass lawn with ground clover, expanding their vegetable and pollinator gardens, and a create wildlife habitat.

Within that broader calling also came specific desires to create:

A Garden to Attract Pollinators:
Replace grass lawn with ground clover and plant native plants, shrubs and trees of the Northeast, expand the organic vegetable garden, and bring awareness to eco-friendly ways of being and the human impact on Mother Earth.

Pleasurable Nature-based experiences:
We invite you to our eco-friendly off-grid Yurt for an opportunity to connect with Nature and give you the best chance of relaxing. Volunteer helping us care for the chickens, gardens and grounds in the mornings, and spend the day at one of many Hamptons pristine beaches, an hour or two sitting peacefully by the Dakota-Fire-Pit, or inside the Yurt by the wood burning stove as the sun goes down. All rooted in some of Long Island’s most spellbinding natural scenery and wildlife.

The G-Code
The G-Code is made available as a sacred private event space for Graduates of The School of Womanly Arts to connect and network.

The Yurt is 20 feet in diameter, 11 feet high to the dome, with windows allowing a 360 view of Nature. The Dome has the most magical way of awashing the interior in beautiful light and allowing for star gazing at night.

We believe in the transformative power of diversity, equity, and inclusion. By actively embracing individuals and communities, we hope to stretch your thinking and nurture your being, to help to empower you to make the subtle or even radical adjustments necessary to lead and bring about a more regenerative and sustainable way of living. We are inspired to enrich the life experiences of those who visit the Yurt Sanctuary.
